In a nutshell: Blue by Alain Ducasse is not just another outpost of the big Ducasse franchise. Executive chef Wilfrid Hocquet has trained in many prestigious kitchens around the world, including the legendary Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse à l'Hôtel de Paris in Monte Carlo, Monaco. At Blue, you can expect imaginative, yet disciplined cooking, and seamless, polished hospitality, staying true to Ducasse’s unwavering standard.

What’s the vibe? Overlooking the Chao Phraya River, the restaurant enjoys one of the best views in Bangkok. The royal blue dining room is as much of a highlight as the food. Renowned French studio Jouin Manku designed the interior that instantly transports you away from a glamorous shopping mall to the Francophile culinary adventure that awaits. While you are enjoying the food, don’t forget to look up and admire the majestic chandelier.

On the menu: At Blue, Hocquet occasionally pairs premium French produce with local delicacies, using both classical and modern French techniques. Recipes requiring microscopic precision, such as guinea fowl pithivier, foie gras on black pepper sablé and the classic baba au rhum, represent the pinnacle of Ducasse cooking taxonomy.

Bonus point: Separate from the main dining room, The Lounge is a section of Blue that opens all day, serving snacks, outstanding pastries and champagne. Here, you get to experience exquisite French creations in the warm, secluded interior inspired by the intimate gardens of the Château de Versailles.
