About Online Pre-registration

The Electoral Commission of Zambia intends to capture a total of 9 million voters in this year’s voter registration exercise. In order to ACHIEVE THIS the Commission has introduced an online voter application portal where persons who are eligible to vote will have the opportunity to submit their details and COLLECT their voters card at a designated collection center within 24hrs.

How Will this work?

A 3 part tutorial video is available on the portal that will help you navigate and successfully submit your details.

Step 1:   Sign Up

You are required to signup using a unique NRC number which will be your UserID.

To enhance your security a one-time password (OTP) will be sent to you mobile phone for authentication.

Step 2:  Select where you will vote from

Identify the District, Constituency, Ward and Polling Station/Registration Center you would like to vote. Get access to this information by checking the Polling District Listing, available on this portal.

Step 3:  Log into your account and populate required information

Once application is successfully submitted check for the recommended collection centres that you can collect your voters’ card from if your Application is successful.

NOTE: At point of card collection you will need to present your green national registration card and have your biometrics captured. Your application can either be accepted or not depending on the information provided, kindly check your account inbox to verify the status of your application before visiting a collection center. If your application is rejected kindly view the reason and make THE necessary corrections then resubmit your application.
